WORK AT UGA
Visiting Scientist in the laboratory of Professor Karl. Erik. L. Eriksson at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, under a Government of India, Department of Science & Technology - Young Scientist Fellowship. Will be associated with the group for 6 months - until August 1999, working mainly in the area of enzyme mechanisms of lignin degradation, among other projects.

Research interests include utilization of lignocellulosic materials for microbial enzyme production and use of inert supports in Solid State Fermentation. Currently operating a research project funded by the Govt. of Kerala through its Science, Technology & Environment Committee.
